年末年始のお休みに意を決して（？）MPMS 帯磁率計用のサンプルローテーターを作りました。試料磁化の方向依存性が測定できなくて色々と研究が滞っていたためです。もちろん買えばいいのですがお金もないし、まぁ、冬休みの自由工作ということで作ってみました。
作っていて気がついたのですが、世の中で非磁性とされている材料の何と磁性なことか！というわけで、手元にあったいろいろな材料の磁化を片っ端から測りました。ちょっとしたレポートにしましたので、アップロードしておきます。あんまり信用しないでね。嘘はついていませんが、たまたま私の実験室に落っこちていた材料なので、皆様のお手元のものとは異なるかも。くわばわクワバラ。
In the winter vacation, I have made an sample rotator for MPMS magnetometer. I know it is on market, but our budget is limited, and it’s vacation! Anyway, while working on this hobby activity, I found that there are quite a few materials which are indeed magnetic, although they are supposedly nonmagnetic… Hence, I checked a number of materials found in our lab room, and make a short note on the results. Please do not so much rely on the report, as your material’s magnetization may not be exactly the same as mine…
